Safe Burning Guide

1. Never leave a burning candle unattended. DRIED HERBS AND FLOWERS ARE FLAMMABLE.

2. DO NOT let candle burn to the bottom. The herbs and flowers will collect at the bottom and become a fire hazard.

3. The 1st burn is the most important!! Allow enough time for the top layer of wax to melt fully.

4. Keep candles away from anything flammable, including curtains, furniture, bedding, books, and decorations.

5. Place the candle on a heat-resistant, sturdy surface that can contain any melted wax or debris.

6. Burn candles in a well-ventilated room, but avoid drafts or air currents that can cause uneven burning or sooting.

7. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use to prevent high flames and uneven burning.

8. Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings, matches, and other debris.

9. Do not remove crystals when wax is hot or candle is lit.

10. Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets.

11. Remove stones before burning, especially large stones. If large herbs or flowers are too close to the flame, extinguish candle and remove the piece. Smaller stones or stones left in the candle can be removed with a spoon when wax is cooled.

12. Raw crystals can have sharp edges. Do not squeeze or let children or animals handle your raw stones . Handle with care.

13. Place burning candles at least three inches apart from one another.

14. For candles with crystals and herbs, ensure these elements are not too close to the wick to avoid potential fire hazards[2].

15. Monitor the candle as it burns. If crystals or herbs sink into the melting wax, they should be coated and safe. However, if any loose elements get too close to the flame, extinguish the candle and move them away[2].

16. Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame, rather than blowing it out, to prevent hot wax from splattering.

17. Ensure the wick ember is no longer glowing before leaving the room.

Remember, while these candles can be used safely, it’s crucial to follow proper candle safety guidelines and never leave a burning candle unattended.
